Going back to where we belong.
3 months off healing from Knee replacement surgery... plenty of time for review/retrospection and falling further behind on any number of projects/goals.
Back to the dream of that matched team of real Siberian sleddogs.. not just any old Siberian Husky.
Well we have that 8 dog team, multiple leaders, well behaved, nice looking, trained here and mostly raised here. young, mostly male. The dame and/or sire from most of this team are retired here. our original vision of keeping a dog team,
Problem is we... I got swept up in the excitement... the old too much too soon.
Breeding and training Seppala Siberian Sleddogs for breed preservation, promoting an organization and/or registry.. Got wrapped up in the Seppala Siberian Sledog debate
Bought dogs to breed and help expand a population.
We can no longer do that.
Physically, Emotionally, Monetarily.
The extra breeding stock we bought along with the C litter are being sold, we are going to do our best to place with a kennel supporting those breed preservation goals that they were bread under.
