or just lame news,, have not posted since a last season wrap up for our race efforts...Really a lame summer as to dog affairs, overwhelmed with other aspects of life and beyond day to day feeding and caring etc. no time spent working on race plans or sponsorship matters and applications, no time spent on Seppala Siberian Sleddog associations/organizations, no agreements to work on breeding with other kennels, no matings accomplished or planned out, no time spent going over equipment, repairs and updates to dog trailer not done,no this that and the other thing... dog related.
And still "other aspects" of life need focus..
But were on it a bit.. we have the excuse it is warmer here still, but have done a couple 2 mile 8 dog 4 wheeler runs and 1/2 dozen 2 dog 3 mile bike runs, opened my mouth on SSSD discussions on line...
Races..? 8 dog mid 40-60 mile ? feb march... 1 at least... 2 might be a stretch... just typing/thinking out loud as far as any planning at this point...
Dogs look great in the few runs, ready to go attentive and calm yet excited to run,, they know the routine no newbies.
Really wish I could see some lite opening up in the void on association matters, and cooperation amongst the SSSD breeders...
Gotta work on some individual dog posts/profiles here some time too.... you'd be amazed.
